Most translation agencies ask you to submit your documents before they'll tell you what a job costs. We publish the rate for every service — per word, per hour or per minute, whichever fits the work — so you know the number before you commit anything. Use the estimator for an indicative figure, or add a service straight to your cart at the published rate.

Local knowledge, not a generic platform.

We're based in Torelló, in the Osona comarca, a short drive from Barcelona — not a nationwide call centre. That means we know which Catalan and Spanish institutions ask for a sworn translation versus a certified one, we can arrange an interpreter on-site in the Osona/Barcelona area, and if an institution pushes back on a document, there's a real office and a real phone number behind it.

"Sworn" isn't a marketing word. In Spain, a sworn translation (traducción jurada) is only valid when it's produced by a translator appointed by Spain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAEC) and carries their stamp and signature. That's what makes a court, university or consulate accept it.

Frequently asked questions

How is the price calculated?

Most services are priced per word; interpreting is priced per hour and transcription/subtitling per audio or video minute. Every service page and the pricing page show the exact rate and the minimum order. The estimator turns that into a real number for your document in a few seconds.

What’s the difference between "sworn" and "certified"?

A sworn translation is signed and stamped by a MAEC-appointed translator and is what most Spanish courts, notaries and public bodies require. "Certified" is used more loosely outside Spain for a translation accompanied by a signed statement of accuracy. If an institution’s letter uses the word "jurada," you need the sworn version — see our sworn translation page for the full explanation.

How fast can you deliver?

Standard turnaround is 3–5 business days at the base price. Priority (48 hours) adds 25%; Express (24 hours) adds 40%. You choose the tier when you configure the service or the estimator.

Is my document confidential?

Yes. Documents are handled under our stated GDPR practice: access limited to the people working on your job, no document shared beyond what the translation requires, and personal data processed only for the purpose of delivering and invoicing the order. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.

Do you offer sworn translators certified by MAEC?

A sworn translation must, by Spanish law, be produced by a translator appointed by Spain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAEC). We coordinate the assignment, translation, stamping and signature of your sworn document from start to finish. You can check any translator's listing yourself on the official MAEC register — our apostille guide explains how.

How do I pay, and can I get an invoice?

You place the order and pay through the checkout on this site; every order is confirmed and invoiced by us, with 21% IVA added at checkout. You can add your NIF/CIF at the billing step if you need a Spanish invoice.
