Quality & confidentiality
Legal documents don't tolerate a "close enough" rendering of a defined term, a jurisdiction reference or a liability clause. We hold a glossary for each legal job so the same term is translated the same way from the first page to the last, and every legal translation goes through a second-pass check before delivery. Documents are shared only with the people working on your file and are not retained beyond what invoicing requires.
Human vs machine for regulated legal content
Machine translation is fast and, for a casual email, often good enough. A contract clause is a different kind of text: a single mistranslated modal verb ("shall" vs "may"), a dropped qualifier, or a jurisdiction name rendered generically can change what a clause actually obligates someone to do. That risk doesn't show up in a fluency score — it shows up later, when the document is tested.

Does this need to be a sworn translation instead?
If a court, notary or public registry in Spain requires "traducción jurada" specifically, use our Sworn / Certified Translation service instead — this legal-translation service covers contracts, litigation and corporate documents that don't require the sworn stamp. If you're unsure which applies, tell us the destination and we'll confirm.
Can you keep terminology consistent across several related contracts?
