Subtitling & Audiovisual Translation

Who this is for

Businesses, content creators and institutional clients who need subtitled video for training, marketing or public-sector use, and who've been quoted by the word for a job that actually runs on timing.

  • Corporate training videos
  • Marketing and social video content
  • Public-sector and institutional video
  • Documentary and interview footage
  • Course and e-learning video

What's included

  • Timing and spotting (subtitle in/out points set to the speech, not just the word count)
  • Translation respecting standard reading-speed limits, so lines don't flash past unread
  • Delivery as SRT/VTT files, or burned into the video, as you need
  • A QA pass watching the subtitled video end to end, not just reading the file

  1. File receipt

You send the video file or a link to it.

  2. Timing / spotting

Subtitle in and out points are set against the actual speech.

  3. Translation

The dialogue is translated to fit the timed lines at a readable pace.

  4. QA pass on-screen

The subtitled video is watched end to end before delivery.

Quality & confidentiality

A technically accurate subtitle that flashes past too fast to read has still failed the viewer. Every subtitled video gets a QA pass watched end to end, not just a file review, and your footage is shared only with the linguist and reviewer assigned to your job.

A real example

An 8-minute training video: €60, delivered as SRT files in 3–5 business days at Standard, or 48 hours at Priority (+25%).

Questions about this service

Why is this priced per video minute instead of per word?

Because timing, not word count, is what actually drives the work — a slow, sparse-dialogue minute and a fast, dense one take different effort to spot and time correctly, regardless of word count. Pricing per minute matches the real unit of production.

SRT file or burned-in — which do I need?

An SRT/VTT file is editable and works on most platforms (YouTube, Vimeo, most players); burned-in subtitles are permanently part of the video image, which some social platforms and offline formats require. Tell us where the video will be shown and we'll recommend the right one.

Can you subtitle a video with no script?

Yes — we transcribe the spoken audio first if no script exists, then translate and time the subtitles from that.
